1 tbsp. (15 mL) whole cardamom
2 large cinnamon sticks
1/2 tsp. (3 mL) whole cloves
2 whole star anise
1/4 tsp. (2 mL) ground ginger

Fill a medium teapot with boiling water. Add tea bag and spices; let
steep, covered, for approximately 5 minutes.

Remove tea bag only and let tea steep another 10 minutes.

Strain spices through a tea strainer into tea cups.
4.
Serve with cream or milk and sugar.
Makes 6 servings.
