classics blue cheese & mushrooms
2
tbsp (25 mL) Western Family Vegetable Oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 large onion, sliced
2 cups (500 mL) sliced mushrooms 1 /2 cup (125 mL) whipping cream
1 cup (250 mL) Western Classics Blue Cheese Dressing
salt and pepper to taste
Heat
oil in fry pan over medium high heat.
Sauté garlic, onions and
mushrooms for 10 - 12 minutes, stirring, until tender
and slightly golden brown.
Reduce
heat to low, stir in cream and Western Classics Blue Cheese Dressing
until well incorporated. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground
pepper.
Serve
immediately with grilled steaks or chops. Serves 4.
