sticky red hot ribs

g jar Western Classics Red Chili Spread
1 - 213 mL (7.5 fl oz) can Western Family Tomato Sauce
25 mL (2 tbsp) Western Family Soya Sauce
1 kg (2 lb) pork side ribs

Cut spareribs into four-rib serving pieces and place in large pot with
enough water to cover. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
Drain.

Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine chili spread, tomato sauce and soya
sauce. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.

Arrange ribs in single layer in shallow dish. Coat ribs well with sauce.
Cover and marinate in fridge for several hours or overnight.

Cook ribs on greased grill over medium heat; brush with sauce occasionally
and turn once. Cook for 15 minutes until browned.
Balance
this meal and increase fibre at the same time, serve ribs with a rice
pilaf and corn on the cob.
The
"Health Wise" Strawberry Pineapple Ice, as dessert, completes
the meal.
