fresh fruit platter with dip
Use at least 6 different fresh fruits of your choice. We suggest this combination for a rainbow coloured platter:
250 mL seedless purple or 1 cup
green grapes
250 mL fresh pineapple chunks 1 cup
2 oranges, peeled and cut into slices or segments
4 kiwi fruit, cut into slices
250 mL fresh strawberries 1 cup
1 medium cantaloupe, peeled, seeded and sliced
the dip
250 mL Western Family French vanilla yogurt (or fruit flavour of your choice) 1 cup
125 mL whipping cream, whipped ½ cup
Wash and prepare all fruit. Arrange decoratively on a large platter. Cover with plastic wrap and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
For dip, combine yogurt and whipped cream. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
Makes 8-10 servings.
