Bean Dip
1 can (398 mL) Western Family Refried Beans
1 tbsp. (15 mL) bulk taco seasoning (or more to taste).
2 cups (500 mL) sour cream
1 cup (250 mL) or more Western Classics Exquisita Salsa
1 chopped fresh tomato
1/2 chopped green pepper
2 green onions, chopped
1 1/2 cups (375 mL) mozzarella cheese
1.
Spread beans over the bottom of a 9" pie pan or other shallow serving
dish.

Mix together sour cream and taco seasoning and spread over beans.
3.
Carefully spread salsa over sour cream and top with tomatoes, green pepper
and green onions.
4.
Sprinkle cheese over top and refrigerate for ½ hour before serving.
Serving
Suggestion: This is great with Western Classics taco chips or a good
cracker.
Story:
My husband loves to snack but is very careful with his health. With the
use of Shape sour cream and your choice of low fat cheese, this is an
excellent, nutritious snack that even the kids will love.
