banana french toast

mL (2 cups) low fat milk
4 Eggs
25 mL (2 tbsp) Western Family Honey
50 mL (1/4 cup) orange juice, frozen concentrate, thawed
12 slices, Western Family Whole Wheat Bread, day-old
Western Family Butter
2 bananas (1 for blender and 1 for topping)
Western Classics Maple Syrup

In blender, combine milk, eggs, honey and juice concentrate. Cover and
blend on high speed until smooth. Place bread slices in 9 X 13 inch pan
- 6 per layer. Pour mixture over bread, cover and let sit for 1/2 hour.
In
large non- stick skillet, melt small amount of butter over medium heat.
Cook bread until golden on both sides. Serve with sliced bananas and maple
syrup.
