Medication Disposal Program

Check your medicine cabinet for unused medications and bring them in to Your PriceSmart Foods pharmacist for environmentally responsible disposal. To help you return your expired and unused medications the following is an example of accepted and not accepted products that can be disposed of at our pharmacy.

Accepted:

• All prescription drugs
• Nonprescription medications
• Acne therapies
• Athlete's foot treatments
• Vitamin and mineral supplements

Not accepted

• Contact lens disinfectants
• Antidandruff products and shampoos
• Cosmetics hard surface, antiperspirants, antiseptic skin cleansers,
  or medicated skin care products.
• Sunburn protectants
• Mouthwashes and toothpastes
• Sharps, needles or syringes
• Throat lozenges.
